The Scene Post

The Scene Post was a news magazine by Byte and Gandalf. Four issues were released in July - September 1994 (issues 0-3). The first two issues came with a textmode reader by The Coexcistence, the other two issues with a graphical reader coded by Karl of NoooN. All issues are available at scene.org from where they were downloaded about 200-400 times. They work fine using the latest DOSBox emulator.

The contents were mostly news and rumours about various scene groups. Moreover, there was a section on news releases (just a list, no reviews) and a list of groups who were going to attend some particular parties. The amount of text per issue was about 15 kbytes.

The Scene Post may be interesting for historical purposes as it included some news which other diskmags didn't contain.
